“I have been seen at this location a couple of times for various things as have family members. We have a primary care physician but as it usually tends to work out when I need to be seen they can do it in a couple of days. I have never had a bad experience here and today was no exception. Sometimes people do not understand that while the waiting room may be empty there could be patients in rooms still to be seen. Laura at the front desk was friendly and efficient. David in the back was great and Dr. Gibson is a joy. I would pick her as a primary care provider anytime. While I did not utilize it today a family member has used the wahoo service to wait at home and be called when they were ready to be seen. Great idea. More comfortable for the patient and keeps the waiting rooms clear. Keep up the good work I am sure that myself or another family member will see you soon.”
“One of the best experiences, I have had at an urgent care. Am in Austin for the summer and of course had asthma attack. knowing that I have a chronic immune disease, I was a little leary of going to an urgent care, but the doctor and nurse looked at my issues closely even asked me a few questions that made them think I was wrong about my treatment, but I was accurate of what I was taking and what allergies I have. So they put me on an increased regiment of asthma medicine and almost immediately I felt better. I would recommend them whole heartedly and I was probably in there less than an hour, and it would have been shorter the doctor was very thorough in describing to me what was going on, how she was going to treat me and also some questions/concerns about my immune disease treatment. Very informative. Will go back, if necessary.”
“Fairly new to Austin, and brand new to Obama care is the background you need to understand this review. Desperate, sick, and frantically looking for a doctor that my insurance would cover (when they got their issues straightened out) I stumbled on to them. I walked in, explained to them my needs/issues with insurance and they offered me several (more affordable options). The doctor I saw was SUPER helpful/friendly/knowledgeable! My entire appointment was under an hour!! Afterwards, when I was trying to deal with getting reimbursed their 1800 (nationwide) staff was beyond helpful, and called me every step of the way! It is a bit of a drive from central Austin, but one worth making!”
Experts say even if flu season is in full swing, it’s not too late to get vaccinated. A late flu shot can still protect you from the virus, even after the flu has started to affect those around you. While it’s certainly ideal to get your shot in the fall — typically around September or… Read more »Read more
