Taos Urgent Care acquisition, marks 6 locations in the state for NextCare
Meza, Arizona (April 29, 2021) – NextCare Urgent Care – the nation’s leading privately held provider of urgent care, virtual health medicine and occupational health services - is adding another New Mexico location to its roster. On April 29, 2021 the organization will officially acquire Taos Urgent Care in Taos, New Mexico, which will bring the total number of NextCare clinics in the state to six and its total number of clinics nationally to 148.
The Taos clinic will be located at 330 C Paseo Del Pueblo Sur, and will be open seven days a week from 9am-7pm. NextCare will take over the operation of the clinic on April 29, 2021, but the clinic will retain its current name of Taos Urgent Care for the time being. The clinic and signage will be fully rebranded to NextCare at a later date.
Taos Urgent Care Owner and Medical Director Dr. Debi Sanchez noted, "My team and I have been taking care of this community for almost 11 years. We will continue to do so but under the leadership of NextCare. We are looking forward to having a more robust presence, expanding both the clinic and the services we provide."

The facility will exhibit what you have come to know from NextCare and feature multiple exam rooms, digital X-ray services, and accept most major insurance plans, including NextCare’s Medical Discount programs.
Online check-in will also be available through the NextCare website, which will allow you to book a time and show up to the clinic when your room is ready. This helps patients skip the waiting room and ensure there visit is as quick and efficient as possible.
