NextCare Holdings, Inc. Announces Programs in Response to COVID-19 and “Stay at Home” Orders

April 1, 2020

MESA, AZ – (April 1, 2020) – One of the nation’s leading providers of urgent care medicine and occupational medical services has announced new programs to serve your health care needs during this unprecedented time. We want our patients to know, we are here for you during the many “Stay at Home” orders in place around the country and while it’s important to adhere to these orders, the orders also recommend that you address your healthcare needs.

“NextCare takes the responsibility to provide safe, accessible, convenient and affordable care to our communities seriously.  During the COVID-19 outbreak we have seen the needs and concerns of our patients change.  In turn, NextCare has launched multiple initiatives and changes to some of our service and care models to respond to the needs of our patients so that we may continue to provide the essential healthcare needs in our communities,” commented CEO John Julian.

NextCare and its family of brands are dedicated to creating a safe and accessible healthcare environment for its patients and are providing multiple patient focused models of care, safety and convenience measures.

Telehealth:

Telehealth was launched to enable us to continue to serve our communities safely during this unique time. With Telehealth you can access a provider from the comfort of your home or office with your web browser via a HIPAA secure platform. The service allows patients to book a time online at nextcare.com and get their health needs met without having to leave their home or office.

Curbside Care:

At our clinics, patient safety is our number one priority, so with this in mind, NextCare has launched its Curbside Care program. This new program allows patients to drive-up and stay in their vehicles while we come to them.

Curbside Care allow us to perform patient evaluations and if symptom indicated, conduct rapid tests such as Influenza A/B and Strep, as a screening process to determine what is ailing a patient.  In addition, if it is necessary to obtain a collection sample for COVID-19 from the comfort and safety of your vehicle, we have the ability to do that as well. It also allows our patients to practice important social distancing guidelines and proper precautions while still being able to have their health needs evaluated. Online Check-In:

Our WAHOO (Wait at Home or Office) online check-in system makes getting in line easier. Our website allows you to see how many patients are ahead of you and get text updates when it’s your time to come in. Utilizing our service will

help minimize your wait time in the lobby, and therefore, help minimize your risk of exposure to others who are sick.

Standard & Additional Safety Measures:

As a reminder, NextCare has specific policies in place in regards to the sanitation and sterilization of our clinics. A few of the steps we take to ensure the safety of our patients are listed below:

  • Clinic protocol is to sanitize rooms and equipment following every patient encounter with Medical and Hospital Grade cleaning agents.
  • All clinic facilities (including lobby/waiting areas) are cleaned and sterilized daily by staff and multiple times weekly by professional services.
  • Every clinic utilizes strategic room rotation relative to patient symptoms and treatments to reduce unnecessary risk and exposure for all ailments.

Please remember, obtaining healthcare is an “essential service” and is permitted during these “Stay at Home” orders. It’s important that you don’t allow your healthcare needs to go untreated and take all necessary precautions during this time.
